Travelodge Manchester Sale

Had a good experience at this Travelodge although I was there just for an overnight stay. Good service from the desk on arrival and at breakfast time. Clean and spacious bedroom, warm and cozy with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was really good with both cooked breakfast and continental to choose from. There is nothing really special being a budget hotel, but it does all the basics really well, and on that, it met my expectations.

Having previously lived in the area we knew the area and where this hotel was so perfect for visiting friends and family. It is near the motorway and the main A56 Washway road so ideal for wherever you need to go but that does mean it is a little noisy. With the window shut we couldn't hear the traffic but if you are sensitive to noise maybe earplugs would help. Car park is quite large but you have to make sure you park in a space marked T or T/C, and enter car reg in the system at checkin. We stayed with both our dogs, not sure how there is an extra cleaning charge for them as surely they clean the rooms and vacuum between guests anyway but it wasn't too unreasonable. Staff were pleasnt and check in was friendly and easy to do. Room clean, it looks quite moderm like it might have been refurbed recently or well looked after. The room was slightly smaller than older travelodges, there was no bath just shower. But all fine, we were only there for 2 nights. Breakfast and meals are available in the foyer area. Breakfast is buffet for just under £10. Good choice, cereals dairy and non dairy milk, pancakes, croissants, bagels toast, plus fruit, juice, yoghurts plus cooked items, bacon, sausage, eggs hash browns etc.

Budget hotel at a premium price. Low quality rooms,dated and smells.room was cold ,breakfast was awful .I've been to another travelodge hotel in Portsmouth and it was miles better. All hotels should be brought to same standard or reduce the prices. Stayed 2 nights in Dec fri to Sunday. 250 pounds with breakfast. Waste of money . Pay a bit more and go to a premier Inn.

Very dispassionated to say the least. Rooms were clean however cups were dirty and pillows very smelly. asked on second day to have new clean cups, room hoovered and bathroom cleaned- they only done the hover, cups were dirty, and bathroom was untouched. Also AC did not cool the room. Staying with my partner and 2 kids. Very dispassionated, spoilt our short break, drove all the way from London.

Booked for two nights. On Arrival to pleasant ladies who offered us some things we could do and also directed us to nearest pub to watch the final day of premier league season. Room was spacious enough. Double and 2 singles. Room was clean, bathroom fine, shower and a bath to. Dined in the dining area we all had pizzas with various sides. The food was spot on. Only issue I had was under staffing and also we heard they'd ran out of certain foods to even though it wasn't to busy. We witnessed People checking in waited for ages until a staff member came and checked them in. Also a customer waited a considerable time for a drink at the bar. I do understand it isn't the staff who are at fault for the understaffing. Overall food nice and we had a pleasant stay.

Since visiting this place a couple of years ago it's had quite a revamp with new ultra clean bathrooms /shower rooms check in is easy and staff very good it's about 5 miles from the airport so it's not as busy as those near the airport are worth considering if flying from Manchester. It's about a ten minute ride in a car to the airport
